The Twins Turn Five!

What Tuesday's Look Like..

Up at 630, if not earlier, to start my day. Coffee, Shower.
Wake up the kids.
Feed them 3 different breakfasts every morning.
Toast. Cereal. Waffles.
Send them off to brush teeth.
I pack 3 lunches, then 3 backpacks.
Carry 3 backpacks, my purse, a lunch tote, workout bag to the van.
Leave the house by 7:45 to drop off Jason for school.
Drop off Zachary at the YMCA at 8:30 for preschool.
Take Ryan to speech from 8:45-9:30.
Spend an hour and fifteen minutes alone with Ryan.
(Today I had Asher, 10 months old, and Milo, 4, with us too.)
Today it was a trip to the mall playplace after speech.
Head back to the YMCA to pick up Zachary at 11:00.
Take the kids to Sibley Park for lunch.
I have less than an hour to feed them.
11:50 Go back to the YMCA to drop off Ryan for preschool at 12:00.
Now I have 2 hrs 15 mins. of alone time with Zach.
I use that time to go back home for chores, puzzling : )
Because I have been running around for 4+ hours already.
2:15 Leave to go back to the YMCA to pick up Ryan at 2:30.
After getting Ryan, I head to Jason's school.
The boys play at the playground for 15 mins until Jason's done.
2:45 Head home. Snacks. Down Time.
Unpack all 3 backpacks.
Pack the next two bags we'll need for tonight.
Leave home at 4:15 to take Jason to archery with twins in tow.
4:30-5:30 Archery
Then twins then play at Lincoln park for 30 minutes or more.
Today Dake picked the kids up from me there.
Because when Archery is over at 5:30, Jason must change in the car...
Because we then head to Soccer Practice until 7:00.
7:00 Head home for a late supper..
7:30 Bath times for 3 kids.
Lay out all 3 kids outfits for tomorrow, as well as mine.
Start on backpacks, finish them up tomorrow.
Sign and check Jason's homework.
Jason reads for 15 minutes.
Get a call to work an extra shift this week.
Print off the Letter of the Week photos for the twins.
Pack the twins swimming gear for school tomorrow.
8:00 Twins to bed.
8:30 Jason to be.
8:51 Mom up blogging, but off to bed.

Random Tuesday Tidbits:
This is what every Tuesday looks like.
I have used two-quarters of a tank since yesterday.
I have now taken two extra shifts this week.
Today's 4 trips to the YMCA are on my day off too.
I drove 60+ miles today.
I buckled up the carseats a total of  22 times!
Tomorrow night I will post "What Wednesday Looks Like"

Don't Wait Up. I'll be late!

Three Totally Different Kids.

Today I randomly puked in the van, in a bucket. I hadn't ate, was getting a heachache. Chalk it up to Dake's driving, nausea or perhaps, a couple new babies on the way.... But whatever the case, here is how all three of my kids reacted.. and Dake's two cents too..

Jason said, "Awe man, I think I'm gonna barf."

Zachary said, "Mom, just keep your mouth closed."

Ryan says, "Let me see."

So I showed him the contents of the bucket.. ugh.

And as I was gagging, Dake said, "I hope it doesn't smell like puke or I'm gonna puke next."

Tuesday.

I posted twice to the blog!
The family slept till 7:00.
Dake took Jason to school.
The twins and I stayed in pjs till 2:20.
No reading or puzzling for me today.
I did a lot of laundry.
And cleaned up bathrooms.
Watched a lot of Season 3 True Blood.
Picked up Jason from school.
Dake gave all 3 boys haircuts.
Jogged 3.1 miles with Jessica.
Had a beer and cooked a pizza.
Picked fresh strawberries from our garden.
Jason had no homework, and ate all said strawberries.
I scrapped, started a mini album and printed photos.
I taught Zachary to play tic tac toe.
He now wins every game.
I posted to flickr.
We watched Dora.
I only had 1/2 a diet coke, a record.
More tomorrow, as I am gonna get better at posting.

May 24th

The boys last day of school was May 24th. They had a program followed by an ice cream social! As each of the boys went over the bridge, Ms. Kris revealed what they wanted to be when they grew up.. Ryan wants to be a gardener and Zachary wants to be Mario.

My Thursday.

Up at 630.
Got 3 kids fed, dressed and ready for school.
Dake took Jason at 745.
I took the twins at 830.
Thrifted at 2 stores.
Bought 13 new puzzles.
Went to Kohls.
Spent $1.98 total on 2 shirts for the twins.
Went to Walmart.
Went to 2 libraries.
Left with only 1 book.
That's amazing.
Picked up the twins.
Stopped at Becca's 3 times for laundry.
Our washer is broke. For another week.
Fed the kids lunch.
We played outside.
I finished a book.
A foot wound for Zach being barefoot outside.
Picked up Jason at 245.
Played outside more.
Jessica came up for pizza.
We played outside.
Supper.
Baths.
A head wound for Ryan, after slipping on tile.
Probably cause there was at least 1.5 gallons of water out of the tub.
Pajamas.
A beer for me.
Finished a puzzle.
Picked a new one for tomorrow.
AND hello 8:22. Past bedtime!

This Busy Dake Week.

I worked 5 shifts.
Dake was in Cincinnati Tuesday-Friday.
Dake was in The Cities for 3 days before that.
I was a single mom.
I drank beer.
Jason had soccer twice.
I read. The twins played at the park.
The twins had preschool twice.
It was Bike Day one day for them
Spent Tuesday morning with Becca while they were in school.
We did TWO puzzles and watched Glee.
Jason had Lego's till 4:00 after school on Thursday.
Jessica spent Thursday night with us.
We did a 500 piece puzzle.
We had beer.
I stayed up late folding laundry then I read in bed.
Jason had swimming lessons.
Jason had a friend sleepover.
I went to the library sale.
Becca and I attended a wedding shower in Montgomery, MN.
I did more puzzles.
Jason busted his elbow. Photos on flickr.
It rained. Multiple days.
I had Book Club Friday night.
Thrift shopped with Becca.
Currently watching The Killing on Netflix.
Dake is making homemade waffles.
He cooks. I do puzzles.
I emailed Julie & Brad this morning, and started the dishes.
Ryan has picked all the flowers from our yard. They had yet to bloom.

Today is my Best Friend's 30th Birthday.
I would like to remind her that her biological clock is ticking...

Check Up Time!

Ryan and Zachary had their 6 month check up at the dentist today.. and this momma, who crazily takes care of her boys teeth, have NO CAVITIES!! Whoop. And these photos prove it. I asked Ryan to show my his teeth, while holding the camera, this is the response I got. And I bribed Zach with a dollar to see his teeth. April 17, 2012

Wednesday.

Ryan is sleeping. It's after 5:00. That's will harsh a good bedtime.

Jason is painting Legos.

Zachary's in his underwear, destroying Legos.

I am working on a 1000 piece wine cork puzzle from Mall of America.

Tomorrow Jason has his 1st soccer practice of the season.

Jason also has an after school Lego building class tomorrow till 4:00.

Saturday he has swim lessons.

The twins have preschool tomorrow.

I finished a book today. Started a new one.

Supper?? Dake is gone. Looks like it'll be waffles or pizza.

I'm wearing slippers. My feet are freezeing.

I had Life cereal for lunch.

The sink is full of dishes. Oy!
