Summer Lovin'

This little fun gal will be here soon. I got it from Elise off etsy yesterday. I am thinking Jordyn will love this for a fun summer album here. Can't wait to start mine too! Go Thursday!

In my inbox.

"I love you, your kids adore you, your hubby is madly in love with you, and you have a wonderful circle of friends......... not to mention that you have a sparkly personality, great hair, a creative streak that I envy, & a pretty good sense of humor:) "

I have the best friends ever. This lovely little sweetness was in my inbox waiting for me yesterday. It made my day and so does she. Thank you Julie, everything you said in your email was meaningful and most correct. I am rising above the drama, and staying positive in my life, and being 1200 miles away helps too.

Lewis, you are my rock. Thanks for yesterday.

Bell, see you in a few weeks. Scotland or bust this September.

You three are the best friends a girl could ask for.

Photos from Friday.

The first Monday in May.

This is one of my favorite photos that I took this weekend. I uploaded 103 photos this morning from the last 3 days. Our weekend was well and jammed packed with our favorite things.

Saturday started off great. I was up with the dog before any of the kids so I showered and began my day. I brewed coffee and Jacques took Jason to karate. I took the dog to the vet during walk in hours, but was unable to get Lincoln in. He has an appointment tonight. Then I came home and we all headed out to Jason's last soccer game for the spring season. It was a great match and the game ended in a tie. The babies enjoyed the whole game by napping in their new stroller. Afterwards, we went to McD's playplace with some team mates and their parents; We eat and the kids play. Later that evening we went to Hobby Lobby and Walmart before finally ending the day with some hot dogs and hamburgers.

Note: Zachary is much loved by not only all of us, but by mosquito's! That poor boy is covered in Off and bites non-stop. I have asked the Pediatrician about is and she said that O+ is the mosquito's favorite blood type. How they know that, I am not sure. Maybe they took a poll?

Sunday morning was an early one too. We were dressed and out the door shortly after eight. We went to the Golden Coral for a large breakfast buffet then headed to the zoo. It was a beautiful morning and the best part about being at the zoo so early, the zoo's Starbucks is open. I enjoyed the family and a chai tea latte. Because the zoo wasn't too busy, we let the babies down to roam. It was great to see them getting a chance to explore. It was awesome to get photos with all three boys and sometimes with daddy too, all in the same photo. We all rode the carousel and Zachary refused to get off. I thought security was going to be called. Jason rode twice. We fed the goats, like always, but this time, I placed a pellet in Zachary's hand and he fed the goat too. He loved it. I am not a fan of farm animals bathing me in their saliva; he didn't mind. Yes, I had antibacterial gel. No worries.

There are more photos from Saturday's game, the zoo, and Chuck E Cheese all posted at flickr. Look for another post later today with photos from Friday. Photo of Zach and Jason is from Sunday at the zoo.

And this post finally came together.

Yesterday was the day we were letting Bowser, our pet turtle of the day, go free in the pond. I had found him in the backyard the previous day. We kept him in a small crate and enjoyed him being with us. After school, I loaded the babies up, Jason got Bowser and we walked over to the pond. On the walk there, Jason's voice got hoarse and I knew he was getting up set. I hugged him and said that we could keep him one more day or we could let him go and enjoy being free. I told him that he could decide. Crying, he thought that letting him go would be best.So we walked up to the waters edge and put him right on the bank. He went into the water a little, then a little more.. After just a few moments, he swam away. We were able to see him for a while then he went under. Jason was teary again. But was okay after a few minutes. However, he was sad again later than night. I think he was tired from his day. Luckily, at the same time, a family of geese came up to say hello. Ryan was the first to notice them. I got a bunch of great photos of the geese and you can see more on flickr. Just click here. Here is the new scrapbook page that I did yesterday and a little mini album that I put together for Abby, Jason's friend.
You can look for Chuck E Cheese photos too on flickr.

Running Late Today.

The post promised below this one, is running late. Check back later for all those goodies.

I was up at 5 with the dog and Zachary. I had chugged two cups of coffee and put Twilight on before 6 hoping that would improve my mood. I got Jason to school, and Zachary was asleep in the car instantly. That through us off schedule entirely. My whole day will be off now. Ugh.
