Wisconsin Part One: The Waterpark.

We spent 3 days this week in Wisconsin at The Great Wolf Lodge. We made reservations back in April. The kids were water bugs for hours on end, then we'd break and start all over again. Jason was 48" exactly and able to ride all the slides. Even the scary tornado slide that drops you 6 stories then whirls you around back and forth for 30 feet. Even I was smart enough to say no to that ride, but Jordyn, Jason and Jacuqes all went down together. The longest of the slides was 443 feet and a blast. I'll post more photos on flickr too..

My 1st MLB Game.

My Girl Tribe and I went to a Twins game a couple weeks ago. We bought tickets back in April and had been patiently waiting for our day out. I had never seen a major league game, and it was on my Life To Do List. We spent the day up in The Cities, and at Mall of America shopping. It rained a little through the game, Twins Vs. San Diego, but no worries, we had our $8 Twins ponchos. I had been planning on getting a foam finger since we first decided to go and it was a hit.I also refused to see the game without a beer, an $8.00 beer, but damn, it was good. The first pitch was at 6:10 and before that a WW2 Vet, who was celebrating his 60th wedding anniversary, raised the flags. There was also a proposal on the Big Screen. She said yes, but hell, I would of too, seeing the size of that rock! Amazingly the Twins actually won the game, making it an even better experience. We got home around 1030 that night. I am hooked on going to the games now. Next up, I'd like to get Jason up there. More photos on flickr of the game.

Yesterday.

I worked for 4 hours.
It rained.
I played Mario with Zach.
The hubby was on TDY.
I did puzzles with Ryan.
I made friendship bracelets with Jordyn.
I picked up a friend for a sleepover for Jason.
I drank coffee, two diet cokes.
Neither boys took naps.
Both boys were asleep by 735, Awesome!
The older boys watched Land of the Lost.
I read 25+ pages.
Went to Best Buy, got $10.99 printer ink for $3.78. Score.
Took Jason to the dentist.
Picked up one library book, dropped off two.

Sweet Baby Beaks.

These are updates of my sweet baby robins out on the kids playground. They were 8 days old yesterday in all the photos, but the top, where they were 4 days old. It's so amazing to watch them change and they're textures are the best. More photos are they continue to thrive. You can see them as eggs and just born in my flickr set Robins, but you must be signed in to see them as they are Private.. hey, I don't want any bootlegged copies in National Geographic ; )

Thursday Today.

One of my favorite days of the week.
Scrapped 1 page
Did a load of dishes by hand and loaded the washer
Set outside while the boys chalked
Did 2 loads of laundry
Spent way to much time on line
Planned out 46 meals for the next weeks
Then prepared coupons, a grocery list
Talked to Grandma Long
Took Jason to and from school
He had a great day in his glasses.
Took photos of my baby birds
Read a handful of pages in a new Picoult novel
Kept Zach in Big Boy undies all day
Took an hour and 45 minute nap
Bought milk and donuts
Watched 2 old Oprah episodes
Played Mario with Zach
