First Day Of Preschool

and it is finally mine!

Wohooooooohoooooooooo!! This is my new camera!! I just got it today, but have been drooling over it for quite some time now.. AND this is just in time for Jason's first day of pre school which is tomorrow! This is my new "I bought you a boat so you can buy me a new toy too" payback from my hubby, although he did know that if we got the boat, I got the camera. I Just thought with the twins coming and the price of film plus developing for photographing 3 kids non-stop, digital just might be the way to go, ya know?

So this is a 10.1 Cannon Rebel EOS XTi. We got an extra battery pack, filter lens, battery charger pack, a shoulder strap and a 2 gig card and a very large camera bag to house both my Cannons when not in use. We also opted for the 4 year warranty, which covers accidents and pure studipity :) I plan to order another lens (the 50mm 1.08) but no biggie for now. This is soooooo exciting! Back to the manual..

a new something.

Just a little something for today.. a new project! Today I was inspired by Marci Lambert. So here is what I did.. not sure what I am going to do with it.. BUT whatever it is for, it is for Me. It is a 4x8 album with all black pages and one sheet 12x12 pattern paper, Voila! -Hugs!

i got mail.

Totally LOVE getting mail, and this beautiful package came today! It is from my best friend ever.. sooooooo THANKS Bell!

Also got Jason a haircut before preschool starts on Monday! Too Cute, sooooo handsome.. Not the best photo, somebody was uncooperative. Go figure :)

WOW! Major work progress done today! Four layouts and another small page project! LOST is a total lift from Paperjax from over at 2peas and My Little Boy journals are from Whendeeb also at 2peas, gotta be inspired, Thanks Ladies! And as usual these scans are horrible, but try to enjoy them anyway! Four layouts in one day is more than I did over the last two months combined!! later :)

Daddy was able to snap this quick photo of Jason and I this evening. Unfortunately the hubby was also cooking BBQ, so you can see a smoky haze in the photo. Still better than usual.

More excitement: I am 22 weeks pregnant today, 5 and half months..wohoooo! Next check up in September 4th. We have also finished the babies registry, email me if you still need the link.

Jason's preschool starts next Monday. And he will also start soccer practice with in the next week too.. So many changes for such a little guy! Growing up fast.. Later.

and one more thing.

Just a small project from 2peas that I just finished throwing together, and although I loved it, I am glad it is out of my never ending pile of "things to finish up." It's just random pages with phrases to start all that creativity mojo that is "suppose" to be somewhere inside me.. back to work.

flashback.

Just wanted to share this old photo (this is a horrible scan, click photo to enlarge to see a little better) It is from November 2002 when I was 7 months pregnant with Jason. The hubby and I had an army ball to go to, and I found this dressed at a bridal shop for like 100 bucks, but had to have it altered to fit that big belly.. so by the time I was done with all the alterations, the final bill was like $220 bucks! Ouch.. and I only wore it once for a few hours!! But damn, I looked good!! Anyway enjoy the flashback-

krispy kreme machine.
