Just a quick layout that I put together last night before bed to note my love of Skechers..

what i did today..

slept in, ate pancakes, showered, went to church, to Menards and Taco Bell, back home and watched tv, went for a 1/4 mile walk with the family then to Walmart, back home, painted my nails, started laundry and the weekly chores, getting ready to watch Gene Simmons on A&E, then off to bed... to get ready for another week.

I wonder how many on-going projects I can have at once? Seriously, like I need one more.. But I do. SO here is next months layout a day album titled "Us right now." It is a simple kraft 6x6 and inspired by Marci Lambert who asked if I wanted to play along..a Lambert invite? Who could say no to that? Any way this is just the title page, I plan on putting the pages in page protectors and adding a couple jump rings with rick rack.. You'll see more of this album in May :)

Okay well I have been "officially" tagged by Karla so what's the Deal? Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. One: We are getting ready to move to South Carolina in May/June. The hubby has got a job at Fort Jackson.. I am soooo going to love the east coast. Myrtle Beach anyone?

Two: I love chick flicks and I can watch them over and over and over and over... this annoys my hubby, but it makes me happy :)

Three: I have a secret.

Four: I am a girly-girl, no question about it.. Purses, shoes, shopping, lattes, crafts, PINK.. need I say more?

Five: I have had plastic surgery and will again :)

Six: I worked at a Wendy's for 6 years, loved it and made great money..although I never could get any time off ever cause the boss was a hard ass.. hehehehheehh!!

Seven: I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Yep, it is crazy. I think I got it from my grandmother. She is a worry wort.

Just from today. We played some baseball, dodge ball, and soccer.. well mostly I took pictures while the boys played :) Jason is in love with his new Spiderman shoes and hat. Took more photos with the Cannon, hope they are good too. And some fun random things: I Love Urban Cowboy, the movie. I am soooo going to see Dirty Dancing in theaters for the 20 year anniversary next month. I love Squidward from Spongbob, his attitude in general is great.. just Love it! I can quote Armageddon from start to finish. I need some olives..

memory lane.

The weather is beautiful so the boys are outside running wild, and I am inside going down memory lane. An old photo album from 2003. Can my son really be turning 5 next year? He is already so grown up, favors his dad, gross things, cool clothes, and no longer needs me to dress or help him. He is a quote a "big boy" and it makes me soooo sad. I want to cuddle that little baby there in the photo...tear :(

Okay, so I was going to post a new project today that I am working on, but I had to print out some photos first. After I saw them, my heart melted a little.. so I wanted to post these shots instead. They are from April 2005, at the Gulf of Mexico. Then for my project, I needed them in sepia..SO my heart thumped again, and I had to include the altered one too. I'll post my new project tomorrow :)

first sign of spring?

I am going to have to go with a No here, no sign of spring. Here is what we did today, a Snow Day! It's funny how little snow is needed to keep a 4 yr. old busy. These are just a few photos snapped with my digi camera, I hope to have some better shots on my 35mm. Brrrrrrr! Baby, it's cold outside! :(

Happy Easter

Happy Easter all! Look at that handsome boy with a new haircut. These are from yesterday and altered with adjusted color. The Easter Bunny already stopped here and we were up at 6:10 am to see what he brought, FUN! Off to church! Happy Easter :)

Okay so two layouts later and after sending many photos to many relatives, I still had tons of St. Patty's Day photos left over. So last night I found this old green photo album that I got at Target years ago for $7 and turned it into a St. Patty's accordion photo album. today's work..

So here is a layout from today titles "St Patty's Day Belated" because we celebrated it on the 19th instead of the 17th. The kids had matching shirts from Old Navy. I set up a photo shoot and got lots of great shots of them. I have been lacking in the creativity department lately, but this got me back on track..

And I couldn't wait to show you Jason's first time getting his middle name down on paper. I was so excited, I had never seen him do it before! He did it this evening.. Go Little Man!!

So I decided to take the day off and enjoy a movie with Jason. We haven't been to the theater since June, so we saw Disney's Meet The Robinsons.. a great flick with two thumbs up from both of us.. My favorite character was the villain, Goober. Jason's favorite was the butler, the Octopus.

sunday in a nutshell

Sooo this is us today with a time machine photo edit from the 1830's. We had a rough start this morning, but then it was off to church, afterwards we decided to take off and drive to Iowa City for lunch and shopping. Then it was back home. I went for a run and the boys played outside. Everyone is in pj's and we have rented The Guardian on PPV for 8:00..so I better get some popcorn ready..later.
