I don't wearing like shoes. I love to buy them, but once I am in my house, the car, in church, I kick them off. Flip flops are my best friends. I would also love an amazing pair of rain boots right now. I may get some this week.
I throw a mean game of bowling. I was on a Friday Night league from 01-03 and my highest game was a 221 for which I received a patch. At the same time, I also bowled on a Tuesday Morning Senior Citizens Lady's League. They were an amazing bunch of gals, and bowlers. I can also throw a mean game on the Wii with my highest score at 255. Beat that, Lewis.
I worry to much all the time. About everything.
I love reading, office supplies, a great cup of black coffee, and blistex.
I hate ageing, getting older. I lie about my age. I get pissed off when the hubby talks about my age. I don't want to get any older.
I haven't been in a car accident since 1997. Becca was with me. It was the first day of spring break. It was my fault. It was a three car pile up. Thankfully no-one was hurt.
In July, I will pick and accomplish one thing from my Bucket List (aka Life List.) Looks like I also need to update the list. I will work on that next.
There are just two day till Eclipse is released. I will plan accordingly. So will my husband.
I truly consider adopting a baby. A baby girl. They are pretty damn expensive though. I would prefer to find a knocked-up teen to just hand over her baby.
I am reading Songs of Ordinary Time right now. I started it last week. I am only on page 20 out of 752. It's a hard book to get started. Lots of character introductions to keep track of. Setting is in the 60's.
I already know what we are getting Jason for Christmas and I am pretty sure I know what I will get myself. I am just as sure that Zachary will make Santa's naughty list, therefor saving me money.
I am growing my hair out. I miss ponytails that stay put, and buns. I need to lighten it up too. maybe I will try it today outta a box.
I am a huge Twilight geek. I absolutely love the books, and the movies. Edward is eye candy. I am in love with him. Can't wait to see his new flicks..
My horoscope yesterday said that my "sole mate is closer than you may think." So I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for him. I seriously doubt it's the mail man. However I did notice that the drive thru guy at McDonald's gave me two packets of ketchup.

When we were a family of three.
Last month when I was looking through older photo albums to find photos of Grandpa, I found this. It was taken in Oklahoma in June 2003 when Jacques still had more hair than Jason. Jason was not but 5-6 months old. It was a great shot of us and I wanted to share. This summer is our anniversary, we have been together for 10 years and are now a family of five.

Update: Well, Hello, Employment!
Before we moved, I emailed the child care director at the Mankato family YMCA about possibly coming to work for her. I told her I had been with the YMCA for 3 years 04-06/06-07 and was just looking for some part time, get me the hell outta the house for a few hours a day kinda thing. She called Monday and asked me to come in this Friday to meet with her.. That's today, in just a little over an hour. Wish me luck. I'll post an update later here, on this same post.
Update: I had a great time meeting the child care director. It went well and I am sure I will get the job. She said she'd call me in a month and start me in August.. She also asked if I was interested in working in the preschool classrooms instead of the drop off site. I said I didn't care. And you ready for this, It starts at $8 an hour which is really good. At my previous Y's I only made $6. She gave me some free passes and I took the kids swimming last night. It's like a small waterpark in there with slides, and toys. It's really one of the nicest facilities I have scene.

Getting Back to the Surface.
Wow, June is going by quick. Here we are in the middle of it. Here's a quick recap of the last few weeks that I have been absent from the blog. There are photos still going up on flickr though.
The trip home for my grandpa's funeral was good. He had a lovely service and it was awesome to catch up with all the extended family, even under such circumstances. I caught up with almost everyone, but cut my trip super short because Zach got sick running at a hot 101 degrees. I did make the drive both, there and back, by myself. Nine hours each eay, and we only stopped once each trip. The kids did great.
I got a call yesterday from the director of the childcare at Mankato YMCA. She would like me to come to work for her. I go meet with her on Friday, but I won't start till August/September, that way we can still enjoy our summer and Jason is back in school. I am excited and ready to get out. I am nervous at the prospect of having to leave the house this winter to go to work. The hubby actually drives by in on his way to work, so maybe we can carpool on bad days.
Speaking of the man of the house, his new office is on the second floor of the post office. How awesome is that? I always ask him to mail packages for me, and months later, they are still in his backseat. No excuses now. He works 3.2 miles from the house, but is gone on TDY every week. He left today, and wont be home till tomorrow night. His work area covers Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. When he is gone, he puts Jason in charge of the house..
Which leads me into Jason and a whole nother can of worms. Lately he is super moody. Whining a lot and pouting, flopping himself around until we play into, "What's the matter now?" This is really unusual for him. I understand that he is a big brother, with not much time to himself and that he is required to share most of his things. Today the hubby made a comment that maybe it's cause there is no extra curricular activity going on. There's no soccer or karate or school. It's summer and the kid is bored. So I am looking into some summer options, starting with swim lessons. And this weekend, Jason and I are off to see Toy Story 3.
Zachary.. the kid has three favorite sayings right now: "daddy fix it" "needs charged" and "buy some, store." He wants to buy things at the store.. like bath water once it is drained. "Buy some. Store." It seems daddy can fix anything or that it, perhaps, just needs charged.
Ryan is just amazing! He is so excited about everything. His eyes just sparkle. He is well behaved, unlike the other two lately. He absolutely loves Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Both babies do. We watch it many times a day.
This past weekend, we painted the babies room and will get the twin beds set up in there and try to get Ryan from the crib to his big boy bed. And try to get Zach out of our bed. We are also moving Jason to the top floor, to a bigger room. I have yet to really set up my office, but once we get the kids moves all done, I am going to work hard on that.. Then I am going to bust out Bell's fancy sewing machine and get to work on learning to sew a straight line. Then I am determined to learn to sew zipper pouches this year.. It was a Resolution for 2010.
Earlier this week, in an attempt to simplify, I cleaned out a ton of Internet links that I don't need to waste time on visiting. I am still reading. Still my favorite past time. I am on book 28 for the year. I was only able to read one book in the last two weeks. I didn't read for one week, maybe more. And I have something to share from the book Look Again, which I just finished, and found to be a great thought:
"Bad things are like waves. They're going to happen to you, and there's nothing you can do about it. They're part of life, like waves are a part of the ocean. If you're standing on the shoreline, you don't know when the waves are coming. But they'll come. You gotta make sure you get back to the surface, after every wave. That's all."
Get back to the surface. Love it. I am so there.

The Dake Tribe.
Ugh. I wish I would of had my jacket on before these photos. Just look at the tan line. And that Oprah arm flap? Uck. My mom took these for us. I didn't edit them either so it's possible, that in real life, I look an extra 7 years younger and about 10 pounds lighter ; ) I posted a lot more on flickr and look for an update tomorrow.
