two pumpkins.

Here are my trick or treaters. These photos were from November 1, 2008. They were Pumpkins. More are posted here on flicker, Halloween 'o8. I still have more photos from Halloween Night too. Also I should say the I got the costumes on Halloween Day for $6.80 each marked down from $19.50 each. Score.

The past few days I have been busy and drained. The babies were both green with fevers. Nothing more than a cold that will pass. They are both better today.

Ohhh and the boys weights at 11 Months:
Zach 19.5 lbs and Ryan 18.13 lbs.

Today is Election Day, Get Out There and VOTE!

Today we have speech after school from 1-2 then we are headed to Charlotte for a helmet check at 430.. Then we will be stuck in the 5:oo rush hour traffic, but we will eventually make it home. I told Jason are today to do's and he said, "I don't want to do that many things." I agree with the kid.

my son, the democrat.

I picked Jason up at school and he was all politics...

Jason: "Mom, we voted today. I voted for the B guy. He will win tomorrow"

Me: "Do you mean Barack?"

Jason:"Yes."

Me: "Why did you vote for him and why do you think he will win?"

Jason: "Because I think he is rich and famous and nice. He got 14 class votes. The J guy got 8."

Me: "Oh. You mean John Mccain got 8 votes."

Jason: "Yep."

me and god, we be mates.

Sue: Weren't you afraid?

Crocodile Dundee: Of dying? Nah. I read The Bible once. You know God and Jesus and all them apostles? They were all fishermen, just like me. Yeah, straight to heaven for Mick Dundee.

Crocodile Dundee: Yep, me and God, we'd be mates.

Dear Auto-Mated Answering Servies..

I really really really really dislike you.

Jokes by Jason.

Jason: "I was on a ship and I was going to walk the plank. The captain asked me if I wanted anything and I said a cup of root beer.. I walked the plank and you know what kept me from drowning?"

Me: "No, what?"

Jason: "My root beer FLOAT."

welcome back, november.

Lots to catch you all up on. Photos will come later in another post. On Thursday, we had speech and Jason's Halloween carnival at school. He played every game, but was devastated that he didn't win on the cake walk. He played it 3 times in a row to win, and never did. We met Jacques at Walmart then came home for baths and bed. I also put together 22 treats bags after the kids were all asleep.

Friday: What a great Day. It was warm! Jacques took the morning off, so I could take Jason to school at 8, be there for the parade at 10, and then help for the class party. But because I had a couple hours before the festivities started, I went with another mom for treats at Starbucks.. I just can't celebrate Halloween without a Pumpkin Spice Latte. And I had a coupon for a free oatmeal... Ummmmmmmmm THE BEST OATMEAL EVER. Then we went over to the bookstore before heading back to the school.

After the party and parade, we came home so the hubby could head into work. Then the Byington's came over and we loaded up in the van and went over to Harbison and spent a few hours shopping around over there at Babies R Us, Barnes and Noble. We hit Starbucks for a Chai Tea Latte with Soy. Jason had a chocolate cupcake and chocolate milk. Then we read a Halloween story.

Once we got home, it was time to get around for some trick or treating. Jason got all dressed up and the twins. We drove over to Ft. Jackson to meet up at another soldiers house for treats and to group up for going out. We walked the neighborhoods and scored BIG on the candy.. Then we went back to the house for food and fun. We had a fire pit going for warmth and the booze helped with that too ; )

We were home by 843, thinking it was a lot later than that. I guess we were all just worn out and chilly. I followed the boys to bed by 930.

At 245 am, I noticed that Ryan was burning up at 101.9. I gave him some Tylenol and thankfully it started coming down right away. Also took the helmet off to cool him off. He was up 2 or 3 times through out the night. He was just uncomfortable and not feeling well.

Today both boys are leaking snot all over. I can't keep it off their faces, luckily it is clear. Good Sign. I had to miss Jason game at 103o because I didn't want the boys out in the cold. Jacques took him. This is the first game in 3 seasons I have missed. I am going to keep an eye on the babies today and if need be, I may take them to the clinic.

Other than that, we are not getting them out at all. The hubby and Jason have "man" work outside to keep them busy and I will stay in and play with paper and glue. Later one of us will get out to the store. I am thinking chili to celebrate November.

6 days till we are homeowners : )

Another post later with a photo recap. hugs.

as happy as a phillie.

Thursday, another cram packed day of To Dos, does it ever end? Almost, the weekend will be here soon. Above: An ebay find that was on my doorstep yesterday. It is a vintage metal lock box for my office. Love it and a steal at $7 bucks.

Yesterday the hubby was home by 1130 then we went for Jason, drove thru BK, took the loan papers to the loan people, went to home depot to buy and order our carpet, then made it home by 4:00 then had to turn around for soccer at 445. Jacques took Jason and the we stayed home. After practice, I sent a list with them for walmart. When they got home, it was ribs, sausage and sides for super.. Then homework and bedtime. Jason and I were both seriously exhausted.

Today I have to pick Jason up then take him to speech. Then I have to go to the store to buy things to make up goody bags for the class. Jacques will be at the new house at 4 waiting for the garage doorman for an estimate. Then from 530-800 we have a Halloween thing at Jason's school. Then again it will be homework, super, bath and bedtime. And we need to fit in pumpkin carving too.. Maybe we can do that late over the weekend.

Friday will be packed full to with Halloween and things.

House, the Hubby and Everyday Lists.

I made this little bitty yesterday out of scraps. I am a list person. I always have at least 3 lists a day and usually they are all lost. So I used some blank and graph papers to make a mini for my lists. I will use it today for a "To Do" and "Shopping" lists. I also started in on another December project. Thinking Ahead ; )

Did you see House last night? OMG! House and Cuddy, Love is in the Air. I was a little emotional when she lost the baby. It was a girl. I can always relate to a momma losin' a baby girl, I just associate it with me never having my baby girl. I am the same with Daddies and Daughters too. Me, for not having had one. And for the daughter/daddy relationship Jacques will not have with a daughter of our own, a relationship that I craved for myself and for my daughter. Back to House, sorry about the Hallmark Moment there. I have 1 episode left of Season 3 then I will need Season 4. I will have seen every single episode. Maybe the hubby will surprise me with Season 4 today..

Jacques should be home around 10 ish. We will get Jason then we have errands to run. It will be nice to have help although things were a breeze alone with the babies. Maybe sanity will soon follow. They will be 11 months on Monday. And Mom will be here in just a few weeks..

Also: New Photos and a video Up on Flickr.

Tonight: Soccer and Football.
